Counselling & psychotherapy for young people (18+) and adults in Bristol and Online

While I have a particular interest in supporting individuals living with chronic health conditions, my work also extends to a range of other emotional and psychological challenges. I offer counselling for people who are feeling and experiencing:

  • Anxiety, depression, or ongoing stress.

  • Work-related pressure or burnout.

  • Feel unworthy, or incapable, often comparing yourself unfavourably to others.

  • Have high standards for yourself, often accompanied by a fear of making mistakes.

  • Feel anxious at the thought of disappointing someone.

  • Relationship difficulties or conflict.

  • The lingering impact of past experiences on your present.

  • Feelings of loneliness, disconnection, or a sense that something’s missing.

How working with me can help you:

  • Prevent burnout and manage stress – Discover practical ways to care for your emotional and physical wellbeing.

  • Set boundaries without guilt – Build confidence to speak up for your needs, ask for support, and protect your energy.

  • Challenge self-doubt and critical thoughts – Build self-compassion and confidence to relate to yourself with kindness, not judgment.

Training & Experience

My journey in mental health began over 7 years ago, starting with my counselling and psychotherapy training and progressing through diverse professional roles that have shaped my expertise. Since qualifying as a psychotherapist in 2022, I have continued to deepen my practice, working across various settings and gaining valuable experience in supporting individuals' mental well-being.

As an integrative counsellor, I blend a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. This includes Relational Psychotherapy, which emphasises the importance of relationships in our wellbeing and explores how past experiences shape our present emotions, behaviours and how we relate to others.

I also draw on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help clients address unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours, particularly for those dealing with anxiety, depression, and other challenges.

Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) supports clients in cultivating self-compassion, especially for those struggling with shame and self-criticism.

Additionally, I use inner child work to help clients heal past emotional wounds and break patterns of self-criticism.

I also incorporate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFT), a goal-oriented approach that focuses on building solutions and leveraging clients' existing strengths.

By combining these approaches, I tailor therapy to fit each client’s specific needs, supporting their journey toward healing and growth.
